Walking With Him 6 is honored to announce the re-opening of our Women's Recovery Housing option. This initiative is dedicated to the memory of our founder's sister, who tragically passed away on January 14, 2025, due to complications related to active substance use.
Our mission continues to focus on providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for women in recovery. We believe in the power of community and hope to create a space where individuals can find healing, strength, and empowerment on their journey to sobriety.
As we move forward, we remain committed to developing programs and resources that address the unique challenges facing women in recovery. Our aim is to foster resilience and facilitate lasting change through compassionate support and understanding.
We invite those who are seeking recovery or know someone who is to reach out and learn more about the opportunities available at Walking With Him 6. Together, we can honor the memory of those we have lost and work towards a future filled with hope and healing.

Walking With Him 6 was established in 2006 as a platform to bring hope by sharing the love, grace and Spirit of God that dwells within a surrendered life.
We strive to help others develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and learn how Walking with Him brings a beautiful transformation of the mind, body and soul.
Walking With Him 6 was Northern Michigan’s first faith-based recovery residence and was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit outreach ministry in 2019.
The goal is to meet the needs of women who have completed treatment and have a need for a structured transitional environment. WWH6 offers a unique opportunity to combine the 12 steps of recovery along with biblical principles and teachings that are grounded in the Word.
Walking with Him 6 is founded on Jesus Christ as our “Higher Power”.
