Our Story

Walking With Him 6 was established in 2006 through the Founder’s personal journey of recovery, which led to a profound moment of desperation. This “gift of desperation”, led to a new way of life that was rooted in the 12 Steps and the Truth of God’s love, His Power, and His Strength. With new-found Peace that transcends understanding, and God’s leading the way out of addiction, Healing began.

Healing began, Faith was discovered, and Transformation unfolded, opening the door to a God-given vision. The Vision took shape and Walking With Him 6 found purpose—to shine a Light into the Darkness of Addiction by creating a faith-based recovery home where women could find healing, hope, and renewal.

Since its founding, Walking With Him 6 has remained deeply committed to walking alongside women on their path to healing. What began as one woman’s journey has become a mission to offer others the same grace-filled opportunity to discover freedom through faith. At the heart of the ministry is the belief that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love and restoration.
